SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $65,000, based upon accounting experienceTHE COMPANY: Real Equity Management (REM) is a privately owned design-build and property management firm based in Columbia, Missouri. We remain focused on our plans for growth and currently have several exciting projects under construction and in queue!STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. This position will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting processes for multiple entities, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.STAFF ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.Perform cash and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.Process and analyze inter-company billings, identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation.Maintain and monitor prepaid expenses and accrual schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, assisting in month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with financial statement preparation and provide support during audits.Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and financial reporting.STAFF ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS:Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.Required: Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.by Jobble
