Locums - Sylva, North Carolina, OB/GYN OpeningClinical Role:

  • November through December
  • December pm through December
  • December through January
  • Friday - Tuesday coverage needed each week. Weekdays will include clinic coverage as well as call. On weekdays, call will be assisted by midwives. Weekend coverage would be physician call only
  • Requirements:
    • 50 deliveries including 12 cesareans within 12 months
    • 25 GYN surgeries including 5 major vaginal and abdominal cases
    • All cases within 12months
    • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
    • EMR: McKesson and Athena
    • Patients Per Shift: 4-6 in hospital, up to 15 in clinic
    • Beds in Facility: 15
    • Admissions Required
    • Assined/Unassigned Patients
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible - Required
    • Active NC License - Required
    • Fellowship Preferred
    • ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - Required
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
    • Call Ratio: 0 - 5
